Great Spanish fishing on private River Ebro estate

Have just had a weeks relaxing fishing in spendid isolation and scenery on the lower Ebro. A private swim , there were only seven on a twp kilometre stretch of underfished river, was a great change from the over crowded banks of the upper Ebro. Fish were not so large on average but it is possible to ledger for cparp and catfish or float for a mixed bag as one wqoud do on the rivers Thames or Trent in their hay days. As their is a constsnt current flowing towards tge sea the fish are in pefect condition and hard fighting. I might have beaten my personal best of a 48.8 lb carp if I had not used too much pressutre attempting to stop a long driving run down stream. One advantage of this venue is that it is only a couple of kilometres from a railway station fromwhere one can be picked up or just a short diversion from the Valencia to Barcelona motorway.

If you are also a shooting enthusiast al levels of hunting can be arranged in season frolm quails to wild boars and stags.
